“base-Human” is an animated projection which plays on the concern that “new life” will eventually sprout from the digital world. Participants are able to add to the projection with paint and markers. At the end of the exhibition, the projection is turned off to reveal a collaborative piece created in part by each guest, suggesting that humans are the only ones who can “give life”.
